This month Choir 66 wrapped up their tour of Australia and New Zealand and we said our farewells and returned home to Uganda. It has been a busy and exciting 5 months as we traveled throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, the Northern Territory and the north island of New Zealand.
The tour has been a huge success. We have seen hundreds of people sign up for child sponsorship and raised much needed funds to continue the good work of Watoto. The highlight of tour was definitely seeing people realise the love of Jesus. It is an honour to travel and share a message of hope and we have loved having the opportunity to pray for people and share our testimonies of Gods goodness.
Thank you to everyone who came to see us perform and to all the generous churches, community groups and families who hosted us along the way. We would also like to thank the amazing volunteers who drove the team bus and truck throughout tour, we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to Uncle Bryan who lead the team for the very first time, and the 9 Aunties and Uncles who cared so well for the children and did a fantastic job. Our 22 beautiful Watoto children, and future leaders of Uganda, have experienced the opportunity of a lifetime and their lives will never be the same.
Congratulations Choir 66!!
