Choir 70 – Thank You Father!

Everyone needs to feel a sense of identity, an understanding of who they are and what their purpose is. As Christians we find our identity in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the father to the fatherless, and friend to the friendless.

In our newest concert, Oh What Love, we sing a song called Taata Webale which means, Father We Thank You. This song celebrates the fact that we are no longer orphans separated from God by sin, but that we are united with God the Father through Christ.

Recently, Anna posted this amazing testimony on Facebook. She said “I want to say thank you all so much for the tremendous blessing of having you at Christ Community Church. My son, whose biological father is in prison and doesn’t see my ex (who he loves like his own father) a whole lot, asked how it could be that the children could be so happy if they were orphans. I told him that they were filled with the love of God and that He had blessed their lives so much. A few minutes later the little boy spoke about just that and said that he would never be fatherless because God is his Father. I looked at my son and he was crying. He gave his heart to Jesus that night and I am blessed and thankful beyond words that God brought y’all to us for him to hear that message!”

Thank you Anna for sharing this powerful testimony with us and allowing us to share it here. We are so excited to hear of how Jesus revealed himself to your son and that he gave his heart to Christ! We believe wholeheartedly that God has a great purpose for his life!
