Watoto Golf Challenge

GolfChallengeBlog

Have you enjoyed the Watoto Children’s Choir? Well, here’s another fun way in which you can support our precious children.

Play or support a golfer in the 1st ever Watoto Golf Challenge this Father’s Day weekend, while transforming lives in Africa.

Get in the game – no matter what your skill level. Or if you’re unable to participate as a golfer, pledge to contribute towards a golfer.
The challenge will take place in various ways in 3 cities.

In Uganda: Play as many holes of golf during the 3-day Watoto Golf Challenge on Father’s Day weekend, 19-21 June 2015.
As a Golfer: Register for only UGX 20,000 in your district or at the Watoto offices. Every golfer must raise as much support for each hole they play. A minimum of 3 rounds of golf or 54 holes must be played over the duration of the challenge.
As a Supporter: Select a golfer to support. Donate to their cause per hole that they finish. Contribute either online or in person. More details at watoto.com/golfchallenge.

In Canada: Support long-term friend of Watoto, John Burns, pastor of Relate Church in Vancouver Canada in the challenge of his life. At 62, he will attempt to play 200 holes of golf, kicking off just before midnight (23.59pm) on Father’s Day, 21 June 2015 at Peace Portal Golf Course in Surrey, BC. Donate to his cause or come play alongside him on 22 June and you may catch a glimpse of him as he races against the sun to meet his target. Every contribution to support John, goes to Watoto. Donate to him online at watoto.com/golfchallenge today or contact Toll free 1.866.9WATOTO or canada@watoto.com!

In Tampa, USA: Register to play in the traditional golf outing onFriday, 19 June. If you can’t be in Tampa, sign up to donate towards those who are participating. Contact Aubrey Hudson at +1 813 948 4343 X1011 or eMail her at aubrey.hudson@watoto.com. We value every contribution.

When you join the Watoto Golf Challenge, you help make a difference in the lives of orphaned children and vulnerable women in Uganda.
